Witness:
An archaic device in Palestinian architecture, to refer glass slides glued on top of cracks that registers seismic movements by breaking.
Glass cast from cracks of the upper Ottoman house in Sakiya, Ramallah. This project engages the histories of this site through various opacities and tensions that exist in the architecture of the space, revealing underlying geographical tensions as well as material ones.
